SeniorCare Fund provides support services and ministry activities.

Almost 60% of the institutionalized elderly never have anyone visit them—including their own family members, pastor, or fellow parishioners.

Many elderly people are lonely because they have lost or become separated from companions, friends and families.

With nothing much to do, time passes slowly, and many days seem monotonous and empty.

Increasing physical infirmities cause concern about the future.

Many institutionalized elderly find group living difficult to accept and manage.

Most frail elderly people are searching and hungry for spiritual nourishment.

A friendly visitor is a mirror reflecting God's love

Friendly visitors call on individuals who need attention and encouragement.

Each and every face of a friendly volunteer who visits is a mirror reflecting God's love. On almost any day of the year, SeniorCare Fund staff members or volunteers can be found in one senior care center or another. Sharing from their personal experiences and the gospel of Jesus Christ, they bring smiles, comforting words, and a sense of quiet peace, as they reflect in their faces the love that our Creator has for all people.

Their purpose is none other than to reassure the suffering and the dying of that ancient benediction: "The Lord bless you, and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you: the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace" (Numbers 6:24-26).
