What SeniorCare Fund provides:
SeniorCare Fund provides support services and Christian spiritual care to the frail elderly and their families. We do this through financial aid and a network of skilled and caring people. Our goal is to help the elderly age with dignity as well as overcome loneliness through counseling and friendship.
SeniorCare Fund is a nonprofit (501-C3) organization of staff members and trained volunteers working in several locations in the United States, Israel and the Ukraine. We are an affiliate of World-Wide Missions.
Presently in the United States we work in nursing homes and convalescent hospitals in northern California.
We also provide financial support for supplementary assistance for retired missionaries with extraordinary medical and living expenses.
SeniorCare Fund is an affiliate of World-Wide Missions, which provides personnel and management services free of charge. Because of this affiliation, SeniorCare Fund’s overhead was kept to a low 1.5% last year.
Activities include:
- Support services for families of elderly
- Encouragement
- Spiritual and personal counseling
- Christian worship services
- Holy Communion
- A home, food and medical care as needed (USA and Israel)
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vacarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, each to their respective eternal rewards.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
